This coffee has won numerous awards, and has ranked very highly over the years including coming in Australia’s top 3 at the Sydney Royal a few years back.
Last year, this blend earned a SILVER medal in high level competition amongst 5 different countries entering Melbourne and International Coffee expo.
Roasters tasting notes:
Black cherry, cocoa nib, rich with good complexity, and full mouthfeel.
Toffee, milk chocolate and a sweet pleasing finish.
A balanced, medium roast, excellent in milk and juicy as black.
I have a heavy amount of Brazil from Pedro Gabarra. Pedros coffee is simply stunning. I’ve blended in some lovely Colombian Huila El Desarrollo and balanced it off with a little sweet Indian Plt A coffee, plus a touch of PNG Kongo.

An 85 plus SCAA scored coffee – Black cherry, cocao nib, red apple.
Colombian Huila El Desarrollo – Red currant, toffee, caramel, buttery body.
Indian Plantation A – Buttery, caramel, tamarind, milk chocolate.
All coffees in this blend are roasted individually as single origins and then blended in various percentages afterwards.
